Matthew Kershaw Bio
Matthew Kershaw is currently with Buck Productions, where he plays a key role in developing and producing television shows and branded content. Recently, he completed the pilot for "Vancouver Reno," a new home renovation series for Magnolia Network, and showran two episodes of their series "In With the Old."
He produced pilots for MTV, including "Collector's Piece" and "Yo Stay Hungry," as well as the feature-length documentary "OJ Simpson: Blood, Lies and Murder" for Reelz. Additionally, Matthew has successfully pitched and sold concepts to Magnolia, HGTV, A&E, and FOX in th last year.
With over twenty-five years of experience in filmed entertainment and marketing, Matthew has worn many hats—creative director, producer, writer, director, showrunner, and unscripted TV development executive.
His work spans both scripted and unscripted television, digital content across multiple countries, and digital, television, and radio advertising. Matthew's diverse projects include video, social media, strategy development, experiential and interactive initiatives, out-of-home and print campaigns, photography, title sequence animation, motion graphics, key art, and illustration.
He has also created branding and identity projects for marketing and public relations. Matthew's portfolio includes writing, directing, and producing short-form content across various genres, from documentaries to scripted comedies, talk shows to broadcast and digital commercials.
He has produced digital series for platforms like CW Seed, Verizon Go90, and AwesomenessTV, and television series and specials for networks such as National Geographic, Slice, Animal Planet, CBC, MuchMusic, and Food Network.
In the realm of branded entertainment, Matthew has crafted content for clients like Marriott Content Studio, Sheraton Hotels, Disney Cruise Lines, Moxy Hotels, Edmunds.com, Dollywood & Herschend Family Entertainment, SeaWorld, and Mayweather Boxing + Fitness.
He has directed high-profile talent, including Dolly Parton, Jon Stewart, influencers Amanda Cerny, and Floyd Mayweather, for platforms like Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook Live.
Prior to his current role, Matthew was the Creative Director at Remedy Television + Branded.
